47 mm watches aren't the most comfortable in the world. After wearing the PAM 232 for a while I get relief by switching to a smaller watch. I think 38 mm - 42 mm is my personal sweet spot....  

As for the size, don't worry, we are many to test watches from 32 to 47 mm, we are still alive and .... Happy. Best, Nicolas

Forget the tourbillons and rattrapantes. Panerai design code is simplicity.

It's such a strong dial (design). Über Base. But you are absolutely right. 47 mm watches are simply uncomfortable to wear. And that pin buckle is even worse ergonomically speaking. Let's not forget that the Panerai watch is designed to wear on the outside...  

I'll have to check out the 610.

I think I'm done with PAMs for now as well. I have 2 44 mm Luminors and 2 47 mm SE pieces (I'll show my other one in another post).

After wearing my 47mm Luminor for a while, it does feel good to strap on a smaller watch as a respite. A 44mm Luminor is always the perfect size for me. Cheers, Anthony
