I wonder if they chose it for certain technical advantage or just to make it look and sound more impressive with "3 Barrels" stamped on the back.

Hi forum ,can I get some thots on the new inhouse P.2002 8days movement on the PAM200 and PAM233? New inhouse calibres always excite me . How do you rate it with the JLC 8 days ? Any views is appreciated ....

One thing I wished Panerai didn't do is cover up the entire movement
with the base plates. I'm crossing my fingers for a more see-through skeletonized movement than the current design. - Anthony

I gather some reservations about this new inhouse movement from some responses .
