After producing the GPF2/56 Egiziano, Panerai tried to "ride the wave" and created a model intended for the Israeli Navy. A prototype was manufactured and this is the end of the...official..story. The "project" never took off and according to the experts the model was never manufactured. Some people "in the know", maintain that some pieces were actually produced BUT not by Panerai. Long story short, our "friend" Perez wrote some interesting presentations/essays on the subject, which can be perused in Perezcope, should I have been able to arouse your curiosity
