I would say that it would be on the cards at some stage. They did it with the Bronze and they also did it with the re edition of the 285.

it's quite likely, unless the sale of the 398/399 turns out to be a totally flop and OP sees that market showing very little interests on the 1940 case. (Radiomir w/o the wire loop or Luminor w/o the crown guard)

Each model will be made in 100 pieces - the 1st 50 (#1 to #50) will be released as a PAM398 / PAM399 box set & the 2nd 50 (#51 to #100) will be sold on an individual basis. - AT

I always love the Minerva movement for Panerai I don't mind the sub second .. I just wished they put a 9 next to it... (like 127 dial) Chasing after one soon my friend? Sam
