the early production of destros does not consist in Limited Editions (if the word limited in you post suggests that). They just have been..produced..in low numbers. That had more to do with the sales than anything else IMO. Still and all there are 1500pieces of PAM22 out there: 200A, 500B (of which some T-dialled and some L-dialled), 500C and 300D. The whole production of the PAM117H consists of ONLY 300 pieces. Other destros of the period: PAM26A/B, PAM56C/D, PAM115E/F/G and PAM123E/F/G were also produced in low numbers (lower than 1000pieces per reference) and then discontinued. The PAM217H was the first..true..LE and the beginning of Limited Editions destros. After that: 239E-358M Submersibles for Chronopassion, the 26K, 368M, PAM345M, PAM569Q PAM579Q, PAM607 (LE boutique S.Giovanni Firenze) etc. There are also the regular production PAM219 and PAM557...though smile Ciao

Hi guys, I’m new here and a collector for a couple of years with no Pam in my collection but I’m a huge fan and trying to decide which will be my first Pam. Can someone answer my silly question. Thanks in advance

would be a neat trick. Not the type of reference that would come to mind in a neophyte. On the other hand is a very handsome reference and very...VERY....V E R Y rare one too (they only made 300 of these "things"). Having a chance to "put your hands on on...

117 was only made for a year. I have sold Panerai in the past and it seems that destro is easy to sell as it is limited production as you say, regardless of model 219 and 557 which you say are regular production with lots made. Some say only a dozen 22B ...

Some are...wrong...about the 22B T-dial production...

no one knows exactely how many were made of each dial (that includes Panerai people). It is my experience that, Panerai "flippers" and second hand dealers, would say just about everything to make the buyer believe that, the piece they are about to buy it'...

Sounds like you need

A Subaru Impreza 22B to match, with its bigger 2212cc engine vs standard 1994cc unit. Also a rare beast with 425 made in 1999
