You should try on both if you are only getting one as you have been wearing your 233 which has the crown guard on the right, you may take a while to warm up with the crown guard on the left.
Don't be swayed by comments, buy what you really like and you will enjoy it more.

Remember that just because a model is produced in less quantity
doesn't make the model more "collectible" or "desirable". You also need to figure in demand for that specific model. There are many who don't like Destro's. Futhermore, I find the PAM217 dial to less attractive than the PAM127. It's just a minor differenc...
