I don't mind at all!! I always feel like I'm showing off when I post these vintage creatures, when in fact I am not. I sold a BUNCH of watches to acquire these babies :)

Wow now that is what you call a nice duo of Panerai's!!!

Whip out the light box more if you can :) Which one do you like better if I may ask? Cheers, Anthony

That's like asking which one of my kids I like more!!! :-))))

Impossible to choose!! :) Thanks for the kind words!

What would be wonderful is to know their stories ...

Fantastic pair!!! Thanks for sharing :D As mentioned above, I'd love to see some background on those two as well as as many pics as you'd like to share with us ;) Left... 6152? Right... 3646...? Pretty heavy font on that one... interesting!

Hi travelller.....you are indeed correct

 By: Rick-O : September 12th, 2012-18:01
Left is a 6152/1, right a 3646 Type D....As for the font, you are correct. In fact, all 3646's I have seen have this "thicker" font....Perhaps one of the vintage experts can chime in.. :)

OMG...

...that's a serious chunk of Panerai history you've got there... ...respect!!! :8

Perfection!!!

Is it coincidence?

 By: efftee : September 12th, 2012-22:41
Or do watches mostly only come out when the wives are away? ;) Very nice pair, by the way, as good as it gets in the Panerai pantheon.

Can you show us pictures of the case backs, inside case backs, movements?

Type D... ? How did you get them? Are you sure of their provenance? I am always concerned when it comes to Vintage Panerai. I wish I could feed the horse by the mouth.... Best, Nicolas

Hi Nicolas...

This space is empty...................as the author was just speechless, dribbling like a drug addict seeing his next fix, and promptly fell on the floor banging his head against the table. Due to the serious nature of the injuries, the author (aka imran ...
