I was looking for panerai shots online which included these 4 pieces. I couldn't really find any. So, I figure I'd post these for the next guy looking.... I really love these 4 watches. The more time I spend with the 232, the more I like it. I really enjo...

Fantastic collection

How about some exotic lizard skin for the 232, and some vintage ammo pouch leather for the Cali? Best, Horo

4 aces, even if I'm getting more and more rid of the trendy 339.

At the contrary, I'm more and more fan of the 3 others... And I think I will also have a strong feeling for the 372. Thanks for sharing these 4 aces! Best, Nicolas.

Hi Nicolas...

I have to agree with you on the 339. When I bought it I thought I was going to wear it....forever....Alas, there something "missing" that makes it a less than outstanding piece. I mean, when I don the 1A, the 36 and others I walk around with an erection. ...

I think there is something sperficial on the 339.

 By: amanico : August 8th, 2011-14:15
This is not the only Paneria watch with this kind of case, while the 127 was " deeper ", there was something behind the 127 which made this watch much " deep " to say it better. if you add the mess around the use of the Marina Militare name, it definitely...

I haven't taken pictures in a while......

 By: sergio : August 8th, 2011-13:56
and I can't post them, now, unfortunately. Funny thing I was wearing the 232 today, eons after the last time I wore it. I agree with you, the dial grows and grows on you. I find it not quite so...tobacco...but spectacular nonetheless. I have a black JV (g...

Thanks gents - looking forward to your pics....

RE the 339 - For those that know me, know I have and have owned a lot of watches. The 339 stands out as a watch people comment on the most. Men and women all seem to feel the urge to tell me how "nice" and "cool" and "awesome" the 339 is when I wear it. I...

It is indeed....

 By: sergio : August 9th, 2011-10:55
a quite remarkable piece, the 339. When my reseller (some would call him...flipper) told me he had one, I didn't even ask the price. Who cares, if you have to ask the price, chances are you can't afford it anyway... I wear it sparingly, not to "protect" i...

Please email me.

If this was your post then I could use some help. panerai.watchprosite.com I have a strange Pre-V and would like to get your opinion. Thanks, Bill [Email address suppressed for privacy]

 By: ocwatching : August 8th, 2011-21:01
and great shots.. I also enjoy the discussions above regarding the 339... Its funny, this piece was the BOMB when it hit last year, but with the 372 (along with the SLOW delivery) has muted its allure... I have had some offline discussions with others (yo...

I can still remember ...

 By: fernando : August 9th, 2011-00:47
the excitement and the hunt for these 3 and closing in on the 217 back in 2007. What a great time that was! Things became complicated thereafter as I headed in a different direction. Good to see that these are still as desirable now! Cheers Fernando...

Awesome lineup mate!

I totally agree with what you said about the 232... It's such an amazing piece... Understated but amazing Interestingly, we see that 232's lume shine the brightest... As for the strap... For 127, I would recommend OEM Cashmere / OEM JV or even try the OEM...

Thank you for the recomendations and kind words -

 By: asg : August 9th, 2011-10:22
All appreciated. Once I get some straps in - I will be sure to post more photos. Straps are a sickness ;-) Regarding Stephen's post - These pics were taken the minute the watches were received. I have removed all plastic and tags and watches have been on ...

Here some picture.....

strap options

 By: rustted : August 27th, 2011-18:03
I'd check out www.wotancraft.com or teddy su straps...don't remember website. I like wotan better than most because of the hand finishing feel. A lot more authentic. Check it out and love to hear your opinions on straps as well! Eric
