I think you don't understand the 127

the 368 and the 217 will never be the Fiddy. It was the first and nothing will take that away. BTW, the 127 retailed for 6700 when I got it. Nico, where is it now? ;-) Asi

MSRP, market pricing, and emotional value... The Fiddy is THE FIDDY and its always going to be special. I missed the boat on the 127 and I am really looking at the 375, but the 327 is pulling me as well.
Indeed this is an interesting piece

Dial w/ the true lineage, proper case size, in house 8 day movements, what's there not to love? True the 127 would always be the first but I see the 368 being the improved 127. Or what the 127 should have been from day 1!
Die 368 is a very different watch from the 127
By: BluNotte : May 18th, 2011-19:12
Ein Guten Tag! It should be compared more with the 217 only, in which case yes i'd say that it does beat it, but to each his own and there are many Ristis out there who believe that the 127 / 217 combo is way better than this year's 375 /368 combo. I for ...

each has it's Own Beauty & Soul.. then how do you explain the Value of 289 that can be had for a bit less than the 127 or 217 ????!!! as you know , the Difference and Complications between the Unitas and the Inhouse Movement in THESE Watches are HUGE ...

posts on the 127 knows that it's the only piece in my collection, they would have to pry out of my dieing hand. Every other Panerai I own, has a.....price, the Fiddy doesn't. I will bequeth the Fiddy to my favourite nephew (I don't have children of my own...
I don't agree with you

In my opinion, 368 is a much better, improvised version of the 127 or 217, with its titanium case, tobacco dial and the in-house 8 days movement.. But it is the Fiddy that is the first modern Panerai with 47mm Luminor 1950 case, the first modern Panerai w...

368 is not well balanced :-((

I considered PAM 368 for purchase BUT... Take a look at a second subdial - it stands too far from the "3" number if compared to historical old models and 127/217. I suspect this is because in-house 8-days movement is too small for 47mm case. Thus, general...
They are uniquely different, imho..

One may need to own them to enjoy as individuals. It is difficult to use any words to describe particularly the 127/217. I love both. I am yet to wear the 368 or see it in person. But, it sounds cool with the in-house movement. Cheers, Ken
