Weekend drive with the Minerva Pythagore Aviation πŸ›©οΈ

The watch goes to show that with decent proportions 34mm fits just as well today as it did for the majority of the wristwatch era πŸ˜‰

And it’s light and unobtrusive enough to be pleasant as a driving companion, while still offering all the visibility needed to tell the time at a glance.

While MB is in some ways doing a good job of capturing the high end complication side of Gnutti era Minerva, the spirit of Pythagore is somehow not in the current collection in my humble opinion. Fortunately they are still to be found on the secondary market, even if the prices are slowly increasing…

Wishing you all a relaxing Sunday πŸ‘‹πŸ»

Not quite as much as some 10 years ago but there are still gems to be found πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

Understated quality …

Not a watch that I own (yet), but admire for the heritage and quality. Personally, I’m not drawn to Montblanc and far prefer your Pythagore. Enjoy your drive today !

Can certainly understand that…

In spite of taking Minerva over, they remain very different animals 😊 Hoping you will find a Minerva to take your fancy soon 🀞🏻

Every time you post it …

They represent the easy vintage - not that old that they are fragile and not that valuable that you need to fear weird dealers doing dodgy stuff πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ»
