I thought I was watching a noon time chinese soap opera. I think the use of popular celebrities is a way of appealing to the new consumers in China. They all may not be able to afford a Villeret watch...but I'd be willing to bet that some wiil buy Montbla...

I first thought she was Japanese. But i think the rich kid character conveys the wrong message. Just jumping in his daddys private jet. spending all daddys money. But oh...those timepieces....

I agree with your comments on the rich kid. however, I think this succeeded in targeting the new rich in China. The girl is a nice touch. didn't say much, stick thin and beautiful. MB has done its research well.

I wonder if anyone can just walk in and get a tour like that, would be cool if thats the case. BTW is the retail on that model the actor bought really is $1.5mil each?
