In 2015, when I visited the Montblanc Booth at the SIHH, I thought I just found my first Montblanc watch, the Orbis Terrarum. Friendly, nice looking, not pretentious at all, I really liked and still like it a lot. Some months later, the 1858 Tachymeter in...  

A beautiful and functional watch that doesn't break the bank. 3 years and you still like it, what's there to wait around for? ;-)

i only have 2 areas to pick on this watch: 1. Closed case back would have worked better especially if that could make the case thinner 2. A seconds hand on the dial would have been an icing on the cake Still for this price, I can’t complain and this watch... 

But every time I try it on, I say, if only it were 2MM thinner...
