Dear all, I recently got this beauty: I find one issue that bothers me a little when I use the chronograph function. The start and the reset of the chrono are perfect, very crisp. However, when I stop (not reset) the chrono, I feel and hear a double click...  

Just checked on my piece to be 100% sure (although I was sure beforehand) - it shouldn't be that way. Can't say anything about your analysis, but you should have them look it up. But another thing seems strange: at least in your picture, the case looks wh... 

It is WG. That is also interesting! Here are the caseback photos...Do they tell something useful? It even says it is 01/58... ...  

the dial doesn't fit imo Ident-Nr. for WG with black dial: 106166 Ident-Nr. for RG with white dial: 106167 I cannot imagine that the 01/58 is a one off different dial. They would have labeled it 1/1 as they always did with these kind of exceptions. Only c... 

Here is the service card. It shows 106770. And it is directly sold from an authorized dealer. It is even sold with a discount since the buyer (the seller of the watch to me) sent me the video showing he getting the new watch in the authorized dealer, with...  

maybe they had some cases and dials left in stock and made a new batch some years ago - I missed that at least.. but get that chrono checked for sure!

Unfortunately if you send the watch for service you will be facing an 8-12 month wait. And yes, the white gold ones came with black dial, I guess this configuration was a one off made for (an important!) customer. Beautiful watch in any case. I would try ...
