This is an absolute top grail. The finishing is with the best in the world. The bridge for the tourbillon is exquisite. All the complication to boot. I love how both sides of the watch are are a delight to look at. Often for a dial side tourbillon the backside one be noteworthy, not here! I love the shape of the case. My only complaint would be too thick. Understanding for the complications, but for me would likely wear poorly. Plus unique dial as well. Bravo on a top acquisition, enjoy 👍

Search for pictures of the Tourbillon bi-cylindrique
there is one version from Gnutti and one from Montblanc; same layout and caliber but different finish. I saw both next to each other in real but was at that time not allowed to take a picture as it was a pre-release show.
Ok let's assume that is the case
I still believe that many people will always associate Montblanc with pens and it would have been a lot better if Minerva had retained its name simply because it has a longer history in watchmaking than Montblanc does. History does count for many.

I was concerned about the thickness as well
but surprisingly, it does not wear like 47mm with 18mm height. It has a very compact feeling on my wrist, well balanced and much better shaped for me than the 47mm chronograph. Thank you for your kind words
The inhouse balance spring is,, to me at least, a top detail of this watch: that is traditional watchmaking ... not any polishing work of parts.
