in all aspects !! I think indeed this caliber can withstand with other "haute horlogerie" pieces, for all the good reasons. A visit at the Villeret manufacture makes one understand why the watches that are made there are so different from the regular MB collection, almost on a level that indepents manufacture their watches.

When having ordered it, I only knew of the RG version not the steel
Must also say that combination RG and black dial is stunning... Who knows the steel version in about a year as well...

Honestly, I think Montblanc should better opt for a nice leather AND small pouch or travel case for the 1858 Chrono monopusher, rather than a too big box. We have too many too big boxes... Best, Nicolas

If I am not wrong the more recent Villeret watches have a smaller box compared to mine (but same luxurious box). Mine is too big I agree. Takes up a lot of space! Cheers Robin

Robin, if my memory is correct the "box or packaging" from the Heritage Spirit Pulsograph is not like this one. Otherwise it would have not bothered me so much. Will try to find out this weekend once going through all the boxes in the attic...
