1858 Chrono Bronze case salmon dial
Oct 23, 2017,11:34 AM
As you know am owner of the first 1858 tachymetre: red gold black dial
Loved the watch before it's official release and ordered it on spot at SIHH 2015
After that they released the steel version blue dial=amazing
This year the bronze case
Just saw the bronze case - salmon dial
Have been fan of salmon dials since many years and as friends now have been asking for salmon colored dials to come out more in the future.
Am a strong believer in the color and hope that "salmon is the new blue".
Am sure that this is a wonderful timepiece but feel that they are pushing the LE of this watch reference too far!
Already 4 editions of LE of 100, brings this to a total of 400. And we already see other references turning on secondary market way onder list price.
Would they have done 100pieces in steel, 100pieces in gold and 100pieces in bronze they could convince me. But 200pieces in bronze and the latest watch only in bronze, arrgghhh...
Still lovely timepiece but Montblanc needs to redefine in strategy, it is clear to me they are struggling at the moment.
