New Duometre
So, after much deliberation and ordering some time ago, I picked up my new Duometre in RG today. I had only see the platinum version in the flesh, but ordered the gold sight unseen. Besides the price difference, the contrast between dial, case and hands made the gold the choice for me. I'm very pleased.
This wasn't my first JLC purchase, but it was the first time I've purchased directly from a JLC boutique. The surprise to me was the doubling of the standard 2 year warranty to 4 years which the salesperson suggested was done only on boutique purchases. Is this correct from anyone else's experience?

Major congratulations on owning the most spectacular chronograph in production!
This is certainly a grail-piece for me. It is both technically and aesthetically stunning. Please do all of us the charity of posting pictures
Note of caution...
Hate to rain on the party, but I know two people who have been lucky enough to own this spectacular timepiece...both came back to me with one concern: When starting, stopping & resetting the Chronograph, do it in one good solid push that thoroughly engage...
This is not the secondes foudroyantes you are referring to, right?
because you must hold down the button for a long moment until the flying seconds hand resets and re-aligns. But I suspect you are instead talking about the sweep seconds counter, in which case, this is an unfortunate issue.

I wonder if it is just the boutique's that have them. Was it yellow or rose gold you got. Would love to see some wrist shots and a small wirte up on how the chrono functions. John
