A Cartier Future Matic, a Cartier Memovox...We should create a thread about all the Cartier / JLC watches... Do we have to consider this as an hommage to JLC? I mean, did Cartier consider these watches as emblematic, hence they put their name on them? Bes...

I have never seen that ad previously, and actually I wasn't aware of the existence of this 'US model Futurematic' by Cartier. Appart from that model, and the so-called 'Jaques-David leCoultre' rectangular triple date moonphase, Cartier watches used to be ... 

I got the watch through my 'usual' distribution channel (i.e. the wild wild electronic Bay ). I guess the seller (a professional vintage watches seller) didn't know what he had in his hands... You can find actually if I am right 2 other 'brands' on memovo...
