The brands don't like the grey market, and JLC is not alone, in this case. After all, you went, as you said, for a big deal, which at the end was not that good. BUT any JLC AD, or Boutique, can slve your problem. They will give you a choice of straps, and... 

Hi Nicolas, Thanks for the heads up as indeed I had a good deal with it. Never the less the negative feeling of such a product having that bad quality of strap as well a in my eyes bad aftersales / service / coullance from a brand like Jaeger LeCoultre is... 

The watch is 1 year old so its under warranty. What if you go it as a present? And even if you bought it used, it is still under warranty. So basically, just bad after sale service. There is not much to debate here. Now you mention about "at these price" ... 

To be honest, before I bought my first JLC I went back to the Beverley JLC shop to buy a watch there. The guy who helped me the first time wasnt there and the woman in there wasnt really happy to take my business, as it looked. So we went away. We went ba... 

... Your story is so typical. I decided to to hit back when i am faced with attitude. Even if the shop is full of people. Of course always in a correct way, but i never accept it that someone gives me attitude especially that i'm going there for a good sh...

Hi Marcel, Sorry to hear your story, but it is not all bad when not ordering from an official AD as I experienced. A couple of years ago I was looking for a MC Reveil (the new Memovox wasn't out yet), and I came accross a used one somewhere at a watchshop... 

All is not bad, the the Bad should be corrected. JLC reads us, and the brand is interested in that kind of feedback, psitive OR negative. Best, Nicolas

Thanks Nicolas, also for the earlier advice for buying the Polaris ;-) Lets hope JLC Swiss will read this forum and see that there is in my case something wrong with their aftersales and maybe even with their "dealerships". Thanks all for the support its ...
