Hi Marcel,

Sorry to hear your story, but it is not all bad when not ordering from an official AD as I experienced. A couple of years ago I was looking for a MC Reveil (the new Memovox wasn't out yet), and I came accross a used one somewhere at a watchshop in Spain. Bought it with only seeing pictures, but sometime you have to gamble! Watch came in the original box and with all the papers and certificates. One problem only; the hands were not alligned properly (this didn't show on the pictures, so was probably due to transport).

Enfin, there was still some of the two year warranty on the watch so I brought it to a Dutch AD where I never bought anything before. They handled everyting very well and a couple of weeks later I got it back, alligned and serviced as well! So maybe you should go to an AD and have it send to JLC to have it fixed under warranty.

I also bought some of my watches new at an official AD and I have to say this is really worth the extra money (if you can afford it of course).

Best of luck from a fellow Dutchman.
