Thanks for the experience

To be honest, before I bought my first JLC I went back to the Beverley JLC shop to buy a watch there. The guy who helped me the first time wasnt there and the woman in there wasnt really happy to take my business, as it looked. So we went away.

We went back another time after that to try it again and buy also a strap (rubber) for my wife's Reverso. Again the same lady with a additude to shoot on, not willing to realy help us. So we left again.

Now each time I am in the neighbourhood I go by hoping to find this guy in the shop but it seems he doesnt work there anymore. Overhere in Holland the only dealers that sells JLC are less then a handfull and are very hautain towards casual looking people like us and they do not have anything in stock/store.

I hope I once will find a dealer that is "real" and know what they are talking about. For sure they will have a client for life.....

The brands don't like the grey market, and JLC is not alone, in this case. After all, you went, as you said, for a big deal, which at the end was not that good. BUT any JLC AD, or Boutique, can slve your problem. They will give you a choice of straps, and...

The watch is 1 year old so its under warranty. What if you go it as a present? And even if you bought it used, it is still under warranty. So basically, just bad after sale service. There is not much to debate here. Now you mention about "at these price" ...
