I'm now very intrigued by reverso but I find the currrent selection not my taste. May I ask what's the ultimate reverso in your eyes? I heard of the perpetual reverso in platinum, anyone has a scan? Any other really interesting one I should know? Thank yo... 

There is at least 100+ different versions of the 'modern' reverso (post-1980), so finding the 'ultimate' is very much a question of personal taste. (not ot mention the also numerous vintage versions). So, I guess the only reverso that can qualify to the t...  

There are 2 kinds of JLC watches impossible to review... The Reverso, and the Memovox... As Clavi said, too many different watches in these 2 families... I tried ,ad gave up. So, my answer will be double: 1/ Objectively, I'd say that the Reverso Triptyque... 

I agree with you that the Gyro 2 is very close to what an Ultimate Reverso should be. But that one is too much for my wallet to handle ;-) I have to go with something more 'reasonable' and yet both interesting and subtle. Btw what is 70eme and 60eme and w... 

GT is 42 x 26, which is a reasonnable size, and XGT is bigger, but not the Squadra case...LOL As for the 60eme, this is a so called Reverso that was launched for the 60th Anniversary of the Reverso, which was born in 1931, and a LE of 500 pieces... the 70...  

Hi CL, I don't know which one is the ultimate Reverso, but MY ultimate Reverso is the 60eme, the first pink gold limited series! That's my Reverso size, I love pink gold, that watch has the date and a power reserve indicator, and I love this calibre serie... 

The ultimate Reverso is a great thing to think about, but the boys are right that is is absolutely a matter of personal preference. I love the platinum series and would snap up a LE Platinum Sun/Moon if it ever came available as I just love the silver pai... 

the RG Perpetual calendar? Do they come in platinum too? I don't have a reverso yet but I think I will have one in future if the right one comes along. I love the shape of the case. Lovesss*CL

...IMO, the classic modern Reverso. It has everything a reverso should have, and nothing more: from its classic (i.e., non-XGT size), its guilloched dial (especially the non-harmonized version), to a genuine use for the reverso case (a second time zone). ... 

Ultimate to me means the 'most' classic and desired reverso. In my case, it has to be small and gentlemanly plus a gorgeous dial. the 60eme seems to do it for me ;-) Lovesss*CL

for me will probably always be the rose gold tourbillon version. Reverso's were my first love (due to my maternal grandfather), and this one was my 'great love' and drew me into the haute horologie world (learning what a tourbillon was). For so many reaso...
