Hiya Robert,
Great information mate and exactly what I was looking for. I knew you had this watch and was hoping you might respond. It is a truly great watch, I'm slightly cautious about the size and I haven't seen it in the flesh to try on. That said I used to own an old Breitling Navitimer Chronomatic which was 48mm Ø x 15mm thick and I thought that looked fine on my 7½" wrist.
As for the alarm, I'm still thinking about it. On reflection I feel the numerals are slightly oversized, so I'm not rushing into a snap decision on that model.
