Not really true - the E871 has a horizontal dial while the E872 has vertical. But they use the same plexi. Best, my friend Blomman

its nice to see so many views and all the reactions. thank you all. the watches were bought in israel in the 60's or 70's. it was a very reliable seller and i dont think that fakes were so popular back then, and surely were not so spread in israel as they...

at the risk of sounding a total idiot, what is the difference between horizontal or vertical dial? english isnt my first language, and in my mind the dial is horizontal at 3 or 6 and vertical at 6 or 12 no? was that a joke or a real thing? i tried to goog...

so, we have another jlc (this one from the grandmother). unfortunately it doesnt work, but i'm sure it can be fixed. its very old and made of gold. and the last one is also an old gold one, but a tissot. since there is no forum for tissot here, i put it h...  

The JLC looks to be late 60's/early 70's. The Tissot - is it large or small case? 33/36mm? Very nice, not so common in gold. Here is a pair of steel 36mm. Best Blomman ...  

can it be 35 mm? it is 36 with the winding part. anyway its not 33 :) i was sure its older. i thought it was early 60's. too sad we cant ask anyone anymore..

My guess would be early 50's. But the JLC is definetly not older than 1960. The applied JL logo on the dial is a tell... Best Blomman
