Which are not representative.
I also agree on the fact that it would be a curious coincidence if the watch in question was not correct, unless we are in the case of these pseudo " Type XX " CMT Chronos coming from Germany. There are more than once, and we all know that they are fake.
Still, as I wrote, I " feel " the watch is correct. Even if the JLC Heritage Gallery doesn't want to authentificate it.
For the anecdote, the SH MN you mention is one I saw on ebay, for sale, at the price of 1200 Euros.
It was there for almost one year, nobody wanting it, except me.
I asked the seller to send me some additonal pictures, mainly of the movement.
No answer, nothing.
One year later, a parisian dealer came to me, asking me what I tought about this watch.
I asked him to show me the movement, which he did.
I told him that I knew this watch, that it came with a paper and so on... The guy fell from his chair.
He told me that he wanted to put it at an auction, one he organized.
He did so, while I was in so Cal at the very same moment, and I offered to place an absent bid.
I lost the bid, and the watch has gone for 6000 Euros, buyer's premium included.
A few months after, the very same watch was auctionned by Artcurial ( !!! ??? ) and went for 15 000 Euros ( buyer's premium not included ).
What happened, I don't know, but it happened, in this exact way...
Best,
Nicolas
