Very tough call.....
I love BOTH! The MC has that classic 50's styling, whereas the RdM has a beautiful, A-symmetrical, "golden ratio" layout.
Try them both on (if you can) on each wrist and go with whichever speaks to your heart the most.
One more thought: the MC is better for a "business watch," whereas the RdM is better as a classy, elegant, more formal watch (IMO).

Hi, Paco, welcome here, first. As for your question, I would say that the good thing is that you cannot go wrong with any of them.
The good thing with the RDM is its original and charming dial. AND you won't have to set the full calendar. The beautiful thing with the Master Calendar is its timeless and very class, elegant dial. If I had to choose only one, I would hesitate a lot. But...
Tough choice....
I have both and love them equally. For me, there’s no conflict because the master calendar has a black dial while the reserve de marched has a silver one. The black dial is not an option at the moment, however. I don’t think you can go wrong with either. ...
i would go for a RDM
it is quite unique, apt daily wearer & very well done ! i've an eye long time for the silver dial - it gives a very vintage feel (the blue dial is equally good)... Best, mahesh.,

I would say the quintessential ‘Master’ is the simple ultra thin, just for the caliber 849 alone, all other master lines, pale in comparison. I over looked it when picking up the MUTM😞
