Tough choice....
I have both and love them equally. For me, there’s no conflict because the master calendar has a black dial while the reserve de marched has a silver one. The black dial is not an option at the moment, however.
I don’t think you can go wrong with either. For me the debate would boil down to moon phase vs power reserve complications since both show the date otherwise. The calendar is a classic design with a layout essentially unchanged in 70 years, whereas the RDM is arguably more “interesting”, with its asymmetric dial. They’re both great watches.

Personally, I prefer the symmetry of the Master Calendar and i think the moonphase is magic. In term of complication, i would have preferred à Reserve de marche on a manual watch, i struggle a bit to see its justification on an automatic. Anyhow, you will...

I love BOTH! The MC has that classic 50's styling, whereas the RdM has a beautiful, A-symmetrical, "golden ratio" layout. Try them both on (if you can) on each wrist and go with whichever speaks to your heart the most. One more thought: the MC is better f...
