This watch is impressive technically and I personally don't have an issue extending the Polaris line to non-alarm watches.

Absence of alarm doesn't bother me. I quite like the design and it looks good IMHO with blue dial. However, this reference is tad to big for my taste. Correct me if I'm wrong, is it 43 mm?

yes. I fell like JLC is trying to cram too many good thing into one. In the end they negates the strength of each other.

To be honest, I much prefer the Polaris Geographique WT.
