Two fresh pictures of the Jaeger Lecoultre P 476.
To sum the P 476, there is no better way to say that:
- It was the first automatic movement for and from JLC. So, this is historically, an important reference.
- As many other models, there were a lot of versions of this reference.
That being said, I found mine in 2011, with an originally black dial which deliciously deteriorated ( turned into ) a Brown color. Not an uniform patina, to say the least, but sometimes, Time is an artist, and I am quite happy to get mine with such a dial.
The 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 applied hour markers and dots, each five minutes, are a pure rapture.
The long thin hands are top, too.
And the case is much my taste.
Somehow, this Watch from JLC makes me think about a vintage Patek Calatrava.
Enjoy these two fresh pictures:
Best,
Nicolas
