Timing
Mine ran about 4 seconds fast the first day, but I did not wind it up. I just let the auto build reserve. From there it has been right on. My buddy also has one and he says his is right on. If demagnetizing it doesn’t work, check the JLC service calculator. After registering mine, the calc showed a regulation service was free!

Strap
With the 20x18 strap size, there will be plenty of options. I have mine on a Lorica woven strap which is very light and water resistant. But I’m contemplating an Omega X33 Kevlar strap.

I had this watch for a few years. It was a real pleasure, especially when someone assumes it's quartz. My only complaint was that is was incredibly light for my taste.
