This story of the Polo player contacting JLC about breaking the watch glass...

...has always amused me. I know that if I’d been the person contacted at JLC I would probably have sent a somewhat curt reply on the lines of “Just take your watch off when playing and put it back on after the match.” Thankfully, I wasn’t that person and JLC have been producing that wonderful iconic watch since then.
