This got me wondering so I did a quick scan of Chrono24 for Duometre a Chronographes and counted watches available to ship immediately:
Jun 03, 2020,10:52 AM
RG Solid Dial - 13
RG Window Dial - 2
RG Grey Dial - 1
YG - 5
WG - 1
Plat Grey Dial - 2
Totally non-scientific non-statistically significant almost worthless guess but if we take YG availability as a reference point maybe they made 3-4x that across all RG variants so optimistically ~1200 RG watches. Throw in 300 YG, 200 WG, & ~ 200 platinum and under 2k total sounds right on the money!
Side note, this is the first time I've seen a RG grey dial variant for sale and the actual available RG window dial listings are tiny compared to the older solid dial variant. Combine that with how rarely we see wrist shots out in the wild of the window dial variants and I would bet that even though they are still technically available they must be selling so few per year the overall production number isn't growing in any significant way.
