hi gyes, talkin about our crickets in our watches, I'm so sorry but, even I didn't heard anything else, there's no bug in my polaris! instead of the titanium amvox one I've owned (such a summertime with a field of crickets!!!). but, in platinum version of these polaris, no noise! I mean, it might depend on type of metal... cheers. O
I'm more than toying with the same idea, I'm suffering! :)))

Personally speaking, I like rotor noise - makes the watch seem more "alive" to me. Loud rotor noise seems to be a characteristic of the ceramic ball bearings JLC use in the rotor, so if the Amvox III has them, it is likely to share this trait aswell. What...
