The shaping of the bridges/plates and
the côtes de Genève converging towards the center of the balance wheel look fantastic ! Some sharp angles would be very welcome, but I really love this architecture. And color wise, with the German silver, blued screws on the periphery and rubis in the middle, it really seems stunning. Would love to see this movement for real!

The good idea. While we are seeing Astronomical Master Grand Traditions for some 15 years, now, with minute repeater or dragons flying all over the dial, I still think that a " simple " Master Grande Tradition, just with a sky map, and without tourbillon,...
I looked at this one last month at NY dealer.
I think a slightly older version? Lovely, but in Russian (1 of 7) so could not read it sadly. ...
The older 2009 version is definitely not as gracious of a case.
A bit bulkier but still wonderful. Had it been in english or french, would have done some man math to figure out how to make it happen

Beautiful overall composition
I would like some better finishing. The hands and tourbillon cage aren't quite up to it for me. The back could have more inner angles, however, I know that is not jlc 's focus.

Agree with your comments, very nice watch but the tourbillon that rotates around is a bit of a gimmick. Better overall finishing would be nice for such a showpiece. Very cool!
While either would be lovely, at least for me, the sight of the tourbillon
traveling around the watch, when it is a ‘celestial piece’ , is especially poetic.

Stunning and mortal. It would be extremely tempting. This is off topic, but on the theme of less is more, I really like their 8 day movement, but didn’t like the dial layouts with the power reserve and day-night indicator. I think it was calibre 877...
No I was thinking on the old 8 day that displayed date, power reserve and day/night circa 15-20 years ago. Use the same calibre in on a three handed watch. I like the calibre’s aesthetics.
The 8-Day PC is a nice watch. Your skeleton is a beautiful example I prefer to the more current model, which is also quite nice. I was thinking of a simpler and beautifully executed three handed watch with - I think the base 877 calibre. I could be mistak...
Not sure. Maybe the earth traveling around.
