...question about reacquiring the Master Moon, yes I have tried. Unfortunately, the friend to whom I sold it has already sold it to somebody else by the time I checked with him.
I thought also about getting the current Master Calendar. However, I chose the Master Ultra Thin Moon for three reasons:
1) The Master Calendar uses a calendar layout which is too similar to my Grande Reverso Calendar. The MUT Moon offers a dial design I have never had before.
2) Since both the MUT Moon and the Master Calendar are small at 39 mm., I figured that I would prefer the one that is or looks thinner as well.
3) The MUT Moon is a bit cheaper.
That's my rationale for this purchase. Thanks for asking!

I meant the one you sold... I know that feeling. Felt the same way when I sold my GT Reverso which led to me buying a Duo after several years just to plug that nagging feeling in my head! Great article and superb photographs as usual, Ruckdee!

you must have been dreaming about some of those attractive moon phase (faces) before you admitted that you could now focus on work. The fact is there is only one moon we see each night when the sky is clear but they come in many faces on a dial of a watch...

ruckdee, I understand your attraction with moon display watches. But why? Is it the regularity of the moon cycle before, during and after our time on Earth? Is it simply the beauty of the moon? I am confused why you did not show a LUC Chopard moon display...
