That’s a keeper
One cannot find it easily even on the used market. A true keeper. I wish I had the option to purchase this rare beauty when it was still in production, but fate was not on my side.
I have been lucky though, to be blessed with the plain true seconds, which I occasionally admire the mechanism behind it. No idea why they even discontinued this series - it is technically so impressive, and showcases the brand in an intelligent way.
They should have expanded on this series slowly, releasing new interpretations of the seconde morte, and discontinuing pieces, not the whole collection. I would have loved to see true seconds chronograph (a monopusher will be more impressive) and a true seconds anti-magnetic piece, or even one with some scientific chronometric theory behind it, such as resonance, fusee-and-chain, toubillon cylindrique, XL balance wheel etc.
And the journey continues… it may be my age or my unorthodox taste but I have to say this universal time is perfect for casual blue jeans weekend attire!

That strap matching your Geophysic
Great strap. Your Geophysic have a good detailed world map of the northern hemisphere. The blue on the dial is perfect, matching the stap perfectly.
