There is a raft of strap makers out there and some - even if not well known - make a very decent effort and often for a very decent price. I also often found that if you want something out of the ordinary the big watch brands tend to be less forthcoming. Maybe not all but quite some.

joepny What an electric colour! At least you learnt Lesson No.2: Don't be pig-headed when the expert recommends a strap thickness. Lesson No.1 is to leave it as OEM strap and let the brand do it for you. But that would not be fun, would it? Regards, MTF

my sharkskin was made by Jean Rousseau and I’m glad I chose the quick release option because it is so easy to take off and put back on.

... your collection is far too small, this is for sure. 20mm is a standard lug spacing, so I strongly advise acquiring a nice selection of watches you can put that strap on ... Marcus
