This watch has caught my attention for quite some time, but I have not jumped yet. I think what stops me is the relative "strong" presence of the power reserve. I am afraid that its hand interferes with hour/minute hands to disturb readability of the dial... 

I actually enjoy the power reserve indicator since my Master Control Geographic is in a regular rotation and i need to wind it every so often. The hour and minute hands pass over/on top of the power reserve indicator. Also the power reserve indicator/hand... 

although technically it may be a bigger challenge than it seems with the rotating mass of the automatic movement.

First many thanks for your pictures. The Master Geographic has always attracted and interested me; I have owned a few since its first appearance in late 90's, up until the Singapore Airline version. Since then I have continued to looking at the newest and...  

Yes, the 38 mm plantinum limited edition Master Geographic is a beauty. I would love to see a platium or white gold version when they redesign the model.
