Elegant, complcated, sporty ... yet understated.

My photograph leaves a lot to be desired, but not my passion for this understated and highly functional world timer. The design is a wonderful marriage between elegance and sport.
Hours, Minutes, sweep seconds, stop seconds for precise adjustments with the crown at 3 pulled out, date & day/night indictaion at 2. Second time zone and day/night indication at six with window displaying the country easily adjusted unidirectionally with the crown at 10. Power reserve indication. Adjustments for dayligfht savings... what else could you ask of a world timer?

The manufacture caliber 937 may appear a little industrious, but the finishing is nice and certainly provides good value. The watch is very reliable with no problems after two years
and keeps wonderfully accurate time within 1-2 seconds/day.

I actually enjoy the power reserve indicator since my Master Control Geographic is in a regular rotation and i need to wind it every so often. The hour and minute hands pass over/on top of the power reserve indicator. Also the power reserve indicator/hand is a darker color than the hour and minute hands so there is some distinction. Admittedly, the dial can appear busy, but I've never had trouble with the legibility of the primary time or second time zone. I would like to see the case improvements implemented on the new Master Hometime to the Master Geographic. Perhaps there is room for improvement in the design. I think they could do wonders aesthetically if they could display the power reserve on the back of the movement or maye even reduce its presence on the dial.
First many thanks for your pictures.
The Master Geographic has always attracted and interested me; I have owned a few since its first appearance in late 90's, up until the Singapore Airline version. Since then I have continued to looking at the newest and latest version which I always found simply stunning.
I made mistakes, I went with other world timers without ever finding happiness and most of all reliability I had with my Master Geographic (s) … May be sometimes soon I will return to sport one more of those perfectly executed and extremely functional timepieces.
Souvenir...
