sumptuous comparison...I would love to have both....I am only half way there...like you.... Its more difficult to get my fav 5070 than the Duo. the charm of the Patek is so great...The Duo is the Duo. Mo

...my salary has never caught up with the price increases of this model... :( Although I believe I would be equally happy with the Duo. The only thing I don't like from the Duo is the small dials, because of my poor sight. So I guess I should be content j... 

As for the small dials, I sadly know and live what you are meaning. But this is such an exceptional Watch that I can live with that. After all, we admire time, we don't read it... since a long time! ;) Best, Nicolas

Let's say that if I was after a fine chorongraph, then I would choose the JLC. If I am after a cool chronograph, with a lor of class, too, I would go for the Patek. AND, if I am the greedy guy I am, I wold go for both. ;) Best, Nicolas

which order? I can't decide... great photos and awesome casebacks...

......of course, I have never owned the Duo and owned (but sold) my 5070G. As you know, I have played with the idea of getting a second 5070 to go with my P..... your picture goes a long way to deciding which 5070 would be a perfect match for the P. I kno... 

... I would chose the PP, I´m so partial to chronos! An this PP chrono is simply superb. Not to say I don´t like the JLC, just thinking which one (only one) I would chose. I kept thinking in your sentence: "these are pieces to admire, not to read the time... 

i would say that mechanically speaking, the Duometre wins. In terms of sophistication, too. But in terms of coolness, the Patek wins. So, you can't go wrong, here. Un abrazo, Amigo. Nicolas. " We don't read the Time, we admire it ". ;)

My chrono itch is starting again and the JLC Duometre Chrono is indeed a strong candidate should I get my first JLC! Thanks Nicolas for the pic and comparison. Cheers Robin
