either the old Rendez-vous or the Seductrice. The former was VERY popular in the '90s but had a weird "press-the-crown" setting.
If you PM me I'll suggest someone very good in the States.
Re the MUTPC, I'd GO FOR IT, and the service on the newer JLCs is pushing 7+ years due to some of the "autotractorized" upgrades. Most JLC service is not outrageous and since JLC saves their tools (at the factory), service won't be a problem, but may take longer than simple hand-winds or autos. I was at JLC in September and they said all high-complications need to go back to the factory.

Thank you everyone for your input. I was guided to an independent watchmaker in a city I travel to frequently by a JLC AD. He changed the battery, thought the mechanism looked great, and leak checked the watch and it passed. Minimal expense and watch runs...
