As Jerome will make an indepht review of this watch.
So, here, I'll give you some basic informations.
The only thing I can tell you is that Jerome and me had mixed feelings about these new MUTs.
First the watches which are both available in RG or in SS :
The grande MUT, which only comes with an Automatic movement ( cal 896 or 899, I don't remember)
This version comes in SS and in RG, and is the only one to be offered with the small second at 6. The case is 40mm.
Then the new MUT in 38 mm, with bthe same caliber than the previous model ( cal 849):
Here in the LE for the 175 th anniversary, in a LE of 575 pieces, in RG with a dedicated brown dial.
Well, why mixed feelings about the new MUTs?
I have to say that, as Jerome, and I'm sure some others here, I was deceived to not see a new and bigger movement on the MUT 38mm.
BUT:
I appreciate a lot the esthetic of the new MUT, which is always a pure and strong design watches.
The movement was small on the previous version, it is again small, but it's not really shocking, once the deception gone.
The new MUT in 40mm is a very nice alternative to some more expensive watches as the PP Calatrava or some VCs.
So, to sum it, finally, I apprecaite a lot these new MUTs.
Hope this will help, waiting for Jerome's review.
Best.
Nicolas
