Reverso Imperfection

Sorry to bother you guys with this as this may seem a bit picky. smile

There is a "small" imperfection on my newly acquired Reverso Duoface that somehow is annoying me.
On my watch the outer case is somehow a little bit higher than the "inner" case on the top left and bottom right (diagonal corners).
So it is sticking out at these corners and one can clearly feel it with a finger/thumb while fondling the face of the watch.
The transition on the other corners (top right and bottom left) is perfectly even and smooth.
It seems like this inner case sits somewhat skewed inside the outer case.
Please have a look at the photos where this can clearly be seen.

As many of you have Reversos I would like to ask if this is "normal" or if I should contact JLC about this.
Do your Reversos have a smooth/even transition between the inner and outer case parts?
Or should I just take a deep breath and just enjoy my watch? ;-)

Thank you,

daniel

I don't own a reverso, but have a feeling that this one slipped through. Quality control.

That's what I am asking myself

If this is an issue of bad quality control or if the whole case mechanism is so complex that it's too hard to get it perfectly aligned? If the latter I think I could live with it.

The case is not a very complicated mechanism

I love how you so casually admit that you fondle your watch

I had JLC/Richemont in Munich have a look at it and they said it was not right and recommended to send it to Switzerland for a closer look. So I had it serviced in Switzerland and they replaced the "carrier". Took them about 10 weeks in total but now it i...
