Question on MCC quick-set date - clockwise or counter-clockwise
Hi,
I'm new to this forum and to JLC watches, but have collected other brands for many years. Have just bought a MCC Chronograph (version 1) from a reputable dealer. However, there is one thing puzzles me and I'm hoping for some help from this forum.
In the user instruction booklet in the section for the quick-set date function it clearly says the crown is supposed to be turned counter-clockwise in order to advance the date weel (in crown position 2), but on the watch itself the quick-set date is done by turning the crown clockwise. I have no reason to believe the watch is counterfeit, but it's worrying that the watch function doesn't match the manual.
I have seen a video clip of the MCC2 being set and the quick-set date change was clearly clockwise (crown) then. Jaeger LeCoultre's website specfies calibre 751 for MCC and calibre 751F for MCC2, is there a difference there?
Great if someone here could help me here for some peace of mind. It's a fantastic watch and would like to start enjoying it 100%!
Gunnar

Thanks to you both amanico and ijl for clearing this one up for me! That's really good news and then there are absolutely no doubts about the authenticity of the watch. So it seems the instruction manual is actually wrong then. I looked at the English, Fr...
