In September 2015, I was treated to a 1:1 introduction to the 2 new Geophysic models in the Madison Av. boutique in NY by Philippe Bonay, no less, then head of JLC in North America. I fell in love with both models and - not least - the clear upgrade in pe...  

And yes. Let’s see whether the movement will ever be re-used.

Your new JLC is so nice, i put the Geophysic on my wishlist for future purchases.

the simplicity is really striking, as is the subtle eggshell dial, which I always love.

But I do seem to remember that the price at launch was somewhat higher than normal at the time for the two. Maybe that, combined with the ‘weird’ functionality scared people away?

…why not get the Universal Time? But would I then also have to get the Geophysic Tourbillon Universal Time? And would I then have to collect all the other Jaeger tourbillions? Jury’s still out on all these questions 😂😉
