For the 150th Anniversary of the brand, Jaeger Lecoultre decided to release one of the most elegant Watch from their past, the Triple Date moonphase. A Watch which was born in the 40ies, and which has been resurrected in... 1983, along with a few others, ...

.. alltogether, indeed my piece of cake ! And all these TD's, with teardrops are to be enjoyed, even including their less noble cousins, without the moonphase ! To me, one of the all-time bests, in the early days of JLC ! Thx for this compelling share ! B...

Until a few years ago, these were all a tremendous bargain The JLCs probably still are a bargain (not sure since I don't follow the vintage market much) The VCs much less so now Cheers, John

JLC rectangular that's not a reverso. I love the round outside date dial. I've seen this on some reversos, and they're fantastic, especially with the red hand. Thanks for the photo and the writeup!

especially with moonphase apertures. The soon-to-be-released Meteorite dial is interesting, but not "classic." If the meteorite dial is a LE piece (100 in rose, 200 in steel), that would generate more interest, I think. I hope (know) JLC has some other go... 

Any other info on the rectangular case anniversary edition? What did they sell for?
