I think the solution to the delay of absent quarter hours in MRs is brilliant and AFAIK has never been achieved up to now. This is more than solving a small inconvenience, we all know what happens if you accidently try to initiate the MR function during this gap (accidently of course). I hope they do reduce the rotor sound as they gained so much by reducing the mechanical sound of the MR function.
