you know, there's no academic way for keeping the light. your solution looks like the idea of peter greenaway (english garden) or Lord Snowdown (both used large white sheets). I think your pix was well exposed; with +1/3 you should have less details in hi... 

The dark color of the tritium pearls, the condition of the hands, and the overall timeless look of this watch contribute to its Vintage look. Real cool piece! Best, Nicolas
