If Heaven ever existed for Jewelled Watches...

I said it many times, I'm not a big fan of jewelled watches, and will probably never buy one. But...There is a BUT. Sometimes, you can't avoid admiring them, especially when they reach this level of perfection. I must confess a great admiration for the wo...

My pleasure, Milan.

Nicolas, these watches, like the Gyro II with diamond, are made for special order, or in "stock" with retail price ? Milan

I may be wrong, but to me, these pieces are not special orders

They are released in a veeeery short batch, and I didn't ask the price, but you can guess it is 2 or 3 times the retail of a normal Gyro I or II... Best, Nicolas

Of the watches pictured...

...I'll take the Master Minute Repeater, please. It has a very intriguing dial. I can't quite put my finger on why I enjoy it, but there's something compelling about that piece. I'm not big on the jeweled watches usually, but there is one I'd love to own ...

Good choice, Daos.

The stunning thing on the jewelled MMR is that it is still ( almost ) sober, and doesn't ruin the cold but strong appeal of this marvellous piece. In a certain way, the jewels even sublimate its beauty. As for the Reverso 101 Art Déco, it is just an aweso...

I am still hoping for an opportunity to see...

...one of the Grande Reverso 101s in person. Have you been able to handle one, and use the winding key on it? Cheers, Daos

I saw it a few times in the flesh

But each time I saw it, I was there for something else... So, I was never able to handle it nor to play with it. Will think about it, next time. Best, Nicolas

The Reverso Squadra Art is a princess' watch, Nicolas!

The Squadra Art is a crazy and exuberant watch

With a touch of Magic... As I said, I specially love the way the jewels are randomly mounted, and this chromatic code, too. Best, my friend. Nicolas

Jewelled Watches are indeed very good to look at

though I doubt very much I will ever own one. I consider them as very fine pieces of Art. Best regards, Baxter

Pure Art, I agree. Best, Nicolas

I have to agree...

I have to agree, I don't like jewelled watches in general. I think the jewels detract from the overall watch. Furthermore, the jewels are usually very small diamonds. Thus, I find that I would rather not have a jewelled watch. However, the designs of thes...

Hi Nicolas, Like you, I'm not a fan of jewelled watches. But like some of the enamelled work on special edition Reversos, I deeply admire and respect the extraordinary craft and workmanship that goes into these pieces even if they are not exactly to my ta...

Awesome outcome, indeed. Can you imagine how hard, difficult it is to place all these jewels on such watches? I imagined myself trying to the same...And gave up, immediately! Best, Nicolas
