If Heaven ever existed for Jewelled Watches...

I said it many times, I'm not a big fan of jewelled watches, and will probably never buy one.

But...There is a BUT.

Sometimes, you can't avoid admiring them, especially when they reach this level of perfection.

I must confess a great admiration for the work done on some pieces which gather the light of the jewels and for some of them the Magic of their complications.

Tourbillon, Gyro Tourbillon, Minute Repeater...Let's start the Ballet with some examples:

Another novelty in the Jewelled pieces, this year: The Reverso Squadra Art, with these stones randomly installed, gives an awesome outcome:

The Master Minute Repeater is another spectacular creation in this version, with a nice play of lights between the metal, the jewels and the ruthenium dial.

Those are inpsired creations, don't you think?

They are released in a veeeery short batch, and I didn't ask the price, but you can guess it is 2 or 3 times the retail of a normal Gyro I or II... Best, Nicolas

The stunning thing on the jewelled MMR is that it is still ( almost ) sober, and doesn't ruin the cold but strong appeal of this marvellous piece. In a certain way, the jewels even sublimate its beauty. As for the Reverso 101 Art Déco, it is just an aweso...

I have to agree, I don't like jewelled watches in general. I think the jewels detract from the overall watch. Furthermore, the jewels are usually very small diamonds. Thus, I find that I would rather not have a jewelled watch. However, the designs of thes...
